Sorry I Lied generation not working?
Check task status, credits and missing slides before retrying a costume image.
If a Sorry I Lied image is missing, first check whether its task is still pending, completed or failed in History. A slow request is not the same as a failed request. Avoid starting another generation while the first submission is still being checked.
Identify the state before retrying
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Sign-in request | Sign in, then return to your saved draft in the same browser. |
| Not enough credits | Check Credits. A new image uses 5 credits; a complete set uses 15 before redos. |
| Pending or processing | Wait for the existing task. Do not submit the same image repeatedly. |
| Failed image | Check its credit-return status in History, then retry the missing slide if appropriate. |
| Completed task, empty slide | Return to the draft so it can check pending results. Preserve the task ID if support is needed. |
| Face or costume looks wrong | Compare the source photo and generated image. Replace or redo only that slide. |
| Download problem | Keep the tab visible and use the export checklist. |
Do I pay again when an image fails?
A generation request debits credits before processing. Failed tasks have a credit-return process; check the actual status rather than assuming a refund has already completed. If History shows a failed task without returned credits, contact support with the task ID and approximate time.
Redoing a successfully generated image is a new request and uses another 5 credits. An image you do not like is different from a technical failure. Caption edits and exporting the same story again do not consume credits.
Keep the completed slides
You can continue with the images that already worked. The editor saves completed slides in your local draft and allows an individual replacement. You can upload a manually edited image if you prefer not to spend credits on another AI attempt.
Before changing a source photo, download any result you want to keep. A new source image changes the reference for the story. Do not clear browser storage as a first troubleshooting step; that can remove your local draft.
Check the original
Tiny faces, hidden clothing and crowded scenes give the model less useful information. Choose a clearer photo or a theme that suits the framing. Read the photo requirements. Changing one thing at a time makes it easier to decide whether another attempt helped.
Ask for help with the right details
Email support@sorryilied.app with your account email, task ID, approximate time and what you expected to happen. Do not send passwords, payment card details or private keys. For a payment issue, include the Waffo order reference instead of your card number.
A generation credit return is separate from a payment refund. The refund policy explains how to request help with a purchase.
