Best photos for a Sorry I Lied AI costume reveal
Choose a clear adult or pet photo, preserve the punchline, and understand what AI may change.
A good Sorry I Lied input photo shows one subject clearly and leaves enough room to see the costume. Use an original JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB. A waist-up or full-body photo usually gives the costume more space than a tightly cropped face.
Choose an image with a readable ending
The final slide stays as your original, so choose it for its punchline as well as its technical quality. A simple homemade costume is often easier to build a reveal around than an already elaborate outfit. You should be happy to show the original at the end.
| Check | Prefer | Avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Subject | One adult or one pet | Groups where the intended subject is unclear |
| Face | Clear and in focus | Heavy blur, tiny faces or strong occlusion |
| Framing | Outfit and useful props visible | Cropping off most clothing |
| Light | Visible facial and clothing details | Deep shadow or blown-out highlights |
| Permission | Your photo or permission from the adult pictured | Unconsented edits or images of children |
Match the costume to the photograph
For butterfly or fairy edits, leave room around the shoulders for wings. A princess dress or astronaut suit is easier to read when more of the body is visible. A witch hat needs space above the head. Vampire details can work in a closer portrait, but the result still needs enough costume contrast for three distinct slides.
Presets guide the edits; they cannot recover details that are absent from the source photo. Avoid expecting a headshot to turn into a precise full-body recreation.
Will my face stay exactly the same?
No exact likeness is guaranteed. The image model receives the original as a reference and instructions to preserve the person and scene, but it can redraw facial details, hands and clothing. Our princess example lets you compare an input with generated edits instead of relying on a promise.
Inspect each result at full size. If identity matters more than the costume transformation, manually edited images may be the better choice. You can upload them to the same four-slide editor and keep the original ending.
What happens to my upload?
Manual assembly and video export happen in the browser. When you request AI generation, your image is uploaded to your account storage and passed to the image service. Your draft also remains in this browser. A draft is not a cross-device backup; clearing site data may remove it.
Remove sensitive background information before uploading. Do not upload identification, private documents or another person's photo without permission. See the privacy policy for account storage and service providers.
Upload your photo. If a task has already failed, check the generation troubleshooting guide before spending more credits.
