Download a Sorry I Lied video and add music
Export MP4 or WebM, save the original images, and add a soundtrack after the reveal is ready.
You can download a Sorry I Lied story as a silent video or save individual images. The editor shows MP4 or WebM on the export button according to your browser's recording support. Export happens on your device, so keep the page open and visible until it finishes.
Choose images or video
Use individual images when you want to create a photo carousel or set timing inside another app. The original fourth image is downloaded from the file you supplied. Generated images are separate AI edits.
Choose video when you want the captions and slide timing assembled for you. Select a portrait 9:16 frame for vertical feeds or a square frame when that fits your post. Preview the crop: a video frame may not show every edge of the source photo.
Why is the export silent?
The editor does not bundle a soundtrack or license music. Add a sound you are allowed to use in the destination app after uploading the video. This also lets you align the final confession with the timing of your chosen audio.
Do not assume that a sound available for personal posts is licensed for ads or other commercial uses. Check the destination platform's rules and the permissions for your intended use.
Why do I see WebM instead of MP4?
Browsers expose different recording formats. The editor selects a format the current browser supports and labels the download accordingly. A WebM file cannot be converted to MP4 simply by renaming its extension. If your posting app rejects the file, try a browser that offers MP4 export or convert the video with a trusted editor.
If export pauses or fails
- Keep this tab visible rather than switching apps during recording.
- Close other memory-heavy tabs and retry with a lower export quality.
- Preview all four slides and make sure each image has loaded.
- Check that your device has room for the download.
- Save individual images as a fallback, then assemble them in your preferred editor.
Repeat exports do not use generation credits. Redoing an AI image does. If the images are not ready yet, use the generation help instead of repeatedly pressing export.
Before posting
Watch the complete file outside the website. Confirm that the first three costume edits appear in order, your original is last, the text is readable and the crop has not removed an important detail. After adding sound, preview it once more in the posting app.
